Terms of Use
1. In order to use the e-government services and benefit from the digital signature, you must register for the Digital ID. You must provide true, accurate, complete, and current information as requested, including your name, date of birth, email address, Jordan ID number, biometric data (if requested), and any other relevant details. By registering, you agree to:
• Follow all instructions for registering and uploading your information.
• Grant the app administrators the right to use and store your information for the purpose of providing the Digital ID and related services, in accordance with the privacy terms.
2. You are responsible for protecting your Digital ID account information, including your username, password, registration details, security code (PIN), phone number, email address, and any other sensitive information. You agree to:
• Not use or attempt to use any Digital ID services, login data or codes for any illegal or prohibited purpose.
• Immediately report any unauthorized activity or security breaches to the approved contact numbers.
3. Your Digital ID is personal to you and is proof of your identity. You must not allow others to use it and are solely responsible for any consequences of sharing it.
4. You must not engage in any illegal or unauthorized activities while using the Digital ID, as determined by the app administrators. This includes activities that infringe on the privacy or rights of others or that are offensive to others, and failure to comply may result in legal consequences.
5. You may not use the Digital ID or services to send unsolicited or spam emails or promotional materials to other users.
6. You must not engage in any harmful activities that affect the Digital ID or other users, such as causing technical damage to electronic devices connected to the Digital ID, transmitting viruses, or affecting the operation of the Digital ID or services in any adverse way.
7. You must not attempt to access the Digital ID or its operating system in an unauthorized manner that may compromise the security of the Digital ID, services, or app.
8. You may not use the Digital ID in a way that damages, impairs, or overburdens it, or collects information about other users.
9. You acknowledge and agree that the app administrators cannot guarantee the prevention of all illegal or improper uses of the Digital ID or services, and cannot be held responsible for such uses.
10. Receiving a Digital ID does not guarantee the right to obtain any specific services, as the ability to access services is subject to the discretion of the relevant governmental entity. No guarantee is made in this regard.
11. Any disputes relating to the terms of use or privacy terms of the app will be resolved by the courts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
